Halloween

This year for Halloween we invited all the neighborhood families over for a potluck dinner. Everyone brought yummy and festive contributions! Daddy was able to get off work a bit early so that he could be in time for dinner and trick or treating - what a treat! We looked all over the Upper Valley for dry ice which is the most important ingredient in Witches Brew. Luckily we found some at the last minute on the 31st!

Molly was ready for bed even before the party started!

The plan was to have Maya dress up as Little Red Riding Hood, and Mallory dress up as the Big Bad Wolf - but Mommy ran out of time and didn't finish Mallory's costume. Oops. So she was a cute little Halloween Cat instead, courtesy of her Great Grandma Ireland. Maya's first two Halloween's she dressed up as a Lady Bug, and Mallory did wear that costume to our Ward Halloween Party. Mallory made a cute Lady Bug and a cute Cat.

Mallory and her little friend Clara were the cutest at the party!

Maya was so excited to be Little Red Riding Hood and I think she was darling. I'm not sure I'll continue making Halloween costumes for my girls. Maya thinks she wants to be a unicorn next year with rainbow hair. We'll see...

We had a very fun Halloween!
