With Storm Nemo on the horizon... everything we had planned for this weekend was canceled.
Our busy weekend was suddenly not so busy at all! And we couldn't be happier!
I spent most of the day Thursday cleaning my house inside and out, because the realtor was supposed to have two showings on Friday.
Canceled.
I showed up for my boxing class at the gym on Friday night.
Canceled.
I was supposed to host a Relief Society activity at my home on Friday night - Chocolate Dipping! Canceled.
Rob's middle school basket ball team that he coaches had a game scheduled for this morning.
Canceled.
Maya had a primary service activity at church today.
Canceled.
Today was supposed to be the Annual Occom Pond party in town.
Canceled.
But we aren't complaining one bit!
(Okay, in all honesty, I was a bit irritated that the house showings had been canceled, only because it is so much work to get my house clean! And, it's also so much work to get myself and the girls out the door and to the gym, so I was very sad my boxing class had been canceled!)
We really don't have more snow than we get during a typical winter snow storm... but for whatever reason people were worried about the roads.
So far we've spent our snowed in weekend with homemade pizza, a movie night, a visit from the Elders, sleeping in, sledding in our front yard, hot chocolate, naps, and Candyland.
I love days like this... more than anything else in the world!

It would be sad to everything you were looking forward to be cancelled, but kind of nice to have the time open up and just get to be together.
So Fun!
ps You should add this blog to the sisters blog so I can just click on it. Thanks! L
Sounds like a heavenly weekend! I wish we were sledding in your front yard too!
