Daddy had a few days off work, so we drove to NYC!
We started off the day at the Museum of Natural History. The girls loved all the animals.
The city was so beautiful - tulips and blossoms everywhere. And the weather was perfect too!
I really, really miss Regis. My days just aren't the same without him around.
Central Park was our favorite part of the day.
We also visited the World Trade Center Memorial. I'm really glad we did.
How do you explain something like 9-11 to a 4 year old?
We stopped in Times Square for a Jamba Juice,
then headed to Battery Park to wave hello to the Statue of Liberty.
The girls were troopers! They took turns napping throughout the day while we walked around.
Maya put $1.00 in the Gold Man's basket, and he did a little dance for her which she thought was hilarious She gave him a fist bump. Silly girl.
On the train home... happy girl and happy daddy.
Rob has been wanting to take Maya to NYC for awhile now. Now that our time in New England is coming to an end... it was now or never!
The Chappells were so good to us!
Thank you for letting us come and stay!
Todd and Rob served their missions together. I wish we had taken a picture of the two of them. They haven't aged a bit since they were 19. (ha ha)
It was really fun to see our girls play with their boys. Thank you for letting us come and stay, for feeding us, for the best bagels ever, for driving us around, and for staying up way too late talking with us and catching up!
We love you guys!!
