Last Day of School

Today was Maya's last day of preschool at HACTC at Hartford High School.
She loved going to school this year. Dr. Spiegel greeted her every morning by saying, "Hi Kids! C'mon in!" And whenever we'd ask her about preschool, she would tell us about something Dr. Spiegel said was, "Terrific!" Maya loved Miss Mandy and Miss Aberash. She was one of only two girls in the class. She loved show and tell each week, and she also loved riding the bus on field trips. She wants to be a fire fighter when she grows up after she's a mommy.
It's hard to believe we have only one more year until M starts kindergarten.
To celebrate (and to take a break from packing) we headed to Woodstock to enjoy our favorite lunch one last time. The Woodstock Farmers Market was our 1st choice to eat at any time we went out, and we are sure going to miss the deli counter and produce and local yumminess about that place.
We ate our picnic right on the river.
I hope we never forget just how beautiful Vermont is.
Yay for the last days of school and picnics on the Ottauquechee River!
