Rob and I weren't the only ones who said goodbye to some dear friends. Maya is a loyal and loving friend. She'd rather be playing with her friends than doing anything else. When it is time to say goodbye after a play date or Sunday dinner or any get together, she is so so so sad to see them go. You can imagine how sad she was to say goodbye to her dearest friends when we moved. We didn't get a picture with everyone, but these are a few cute ones that make me happy.
Maya has two Zs in her life.
Zoey Kaia (her cousin) and Zoe Lindsay (her friend)
(This is what she calls them to differentiate between them the two Zs.)
Maya and Zoe are two peas in a pod. They love princesses and dressing up and can play together for hours in their own little unicorn world surrounded by rainbows and clouds and tea parties and princess balls and happy thoughts. We love Zoe Lindsay and will miss having her over to play!
Kate, Sawyer, and Clara have become like brother and sisters to our girls over the last year. Maya looks up to Kate like a big sister, and loves Sawyer like a brother. Playing in the toy room, camping trips, swimming at the UVAC, days at the lake, Sunday dinners, family sleepovers, holidays and birthdays... these kiddos spent a lot of time together! Mallory can spot Clara from across the chapel and is so excited to have her very own friend. She's mesmerized by Clara's binky and never hesitates to try it out herself. One time Clara borrowed a pair of Mallory's jammies, and to this day, Mallory announces that she's wearing "Clara's Jammies" every time she puts them on.
We love those Kissell Kids!
