Buying a House

After closing on our house, we had two weeks before we needed to be out of our rental property.

We had quite a few projects planned and looking back I'm amazed that we survived that crazy time!

These are just a few pictures of some of the things we did and the transformation.

The biggest project was scraping the popcorn ceilings throughout most of the house.

So so so messy!

This is the girl's bedroom. The only things we did to their room was paint and clean the carpets.

Easy!

We had a little bit more in mind for the Master Bedroom. I need to take some after shots, but these were taken during the process of installing board and batten in our bedroom.

We painted and painted and painted and painted... (Still painting actually!) 

And then we cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more...

And then suddenly it was time to move in!

We still have a few projects to finish up... and maybe down the road a few more to start.

It's been a crazy process, but we're feeling very blessed to be in our own home and look forward to living here for the next four years!
